Another cold start to a hot and sunny day. We rode back down to the Rhine, about 5 miles,  and picked up the cycle path. Brin calculated we have done 2446 metres (8,140′) of ascent and 4166 metres of descent over 5 days. No wonder the coffee stop in the restaurant garden was a bit sophoric and we found it hard to get going again.

The day was a mixture of quiet lanes and a few busy on road sections in  the towns. We criss crossed the Rhine heading west. We finished with a track through a Swiss forest to a small campsite, unexpectedly on the edge of an industrial estate, but it was comfortable and had good facilities.
