Welcome to Brin & Cheryl's  "Here and There" website. This website is our diary where we record some of our cycle trips around Europe. We started it in 2017 when we cycled right across Europe - from the Black Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. For our current trip, we plan to go to Caen in the Normandy region of France and then follow a route the French call "La Velo Francette". It runs south, mainly through the rural French countryside to  La Rochelle, a port on the Bay of Biscay coast in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Then we plan to head north west across Brittany to Roscoff and the ferry back to the UK and home. The main "Journal" and "Map" links at the top of the page  record our progress on this trip.
