And so to home. A long but straightforward and familiar journey using the last day on our Interrail Pass. We ignored any possible restrictions on bikes on early trains and put them in the carriage of the 7.15 from Harwich and we  were in London before 9 for a rather delayed breakfast.

We had plenty of time to sort bike tickets for the 12.03 from Paddington to Penzance through the afternoon. We had a last holiday meal  in the Dolphin Inn in Penzance before riding home in the dark. It was actually a lovely evening, warm. no wind, no traffic and very quiet and as we rode along the bats were coming out and  the odd owl was hooting.
