A nice lazy day, although very hot again. Despite the traffic we both slept soundly . We were under no pressure with under 30 miles to go.

Then a bit of piece and quiet alongside a canal.

And cake.

On through leafy suburbs until we reached a lovely path that ran right alongside the river. We watched other people having stress as they manoeuvred huge barges and ships up the down.
