Day         2
Journey   569

At last a warm night, followed by a warm sunny day. Summer had arrived. We slept late, had another excellent campsite breakfast and slowly packed up. The tent was dry and we took our time. At lunch time we went up the hill to sit about with a sandwich, a coffee at a bar and laze about a bit. I bought a souvenir of the ride – SuperU had mugs with Red Chickens on them. A suitable momento of Velo Francette.

Our hotel was very good. A budget hotel, but bike storage, and one of the the best shower rooms and shower we had ever had. Free coffee 24/7 and a comfy bed. We celebrated by booking a table in a restaurant and having a traditional Breton meal – gallette with a bowl of cider. Also brought the blog up to date. France has been a WiFi desert and almost impossible to get a good enough WiFi signal in most places to bring the blog up to date.  We have ended up doing 4-5 days at a time.
